Don’t look now but Kris Aquino, once dubbed the Queen of All Media, will be in the limelight again soon.

This as the once popular actress and dominant television host and product endorser is set to shoot for a new movie this month.

And the movie is made in the United States by Hollywood producers and stars.

As this developed, Filipinos fans in America volunteered to find a new boyfriend for Kris in the United States or the Philippines.

The actress-tv host responded to the fans, saying she wants someone whose age is plus or minus 7 of her age of 43, should be a non-smoker, has to love reading, works out, prayerful and hard working.

“And most importantly good conversationalist and listener,” Kris wrote.

There is no formal announcement yet actually on the movie, its title and actors yet and Kris, sister of former President Benigno S. Aquino III and daughter of the late President Corazon Aquino and late Senator Benigno S. Aquino Jr., is barred from making any revelations after signing up with a Hollywood-connected talent agency.

But the showbiz industry is full of speculations about the movie project considering that Kris has been sorely missed in the Philippines for months now since not renewing her contract and leaving her mother network of 20 years, the ABS-CBN, where she hosted a popular show and co-hosted other shows.

The loquacious television host tried to revive her showbiz career with a show on a rival network, the GMA Channel 7, via a production group, but after only one airing the show never resumed as controversies hounded the show and Kris partners.

One showbiz authority and columnist in Manila, Aster Amoyo, wrote about the once presidential daughter and sister, including her supposed Hollywood project.

In her column, she reported that Kris and her children James Yap Jr. and Joshua Salvador travelled to Japan for a vacation and were to return to Quezon City on June 8 in time for their moving to a new home in an exclusive subdivision in the city.

While their house was under construction, Kris and family, with household staff, stayed at The Residences of Shangri-La in Fort Bonifacio Global City. They will have stayed there for seven months before moving to their new house.

The respected columnist reported that no less than Kris, in her Facebook account, revealed that she is about to start shooting for her first Hollywood movie. She did not disclose any other detail about the project as she is barred to do so.

There are many speculations, however, that her movie is related to the bestselling book of Kevin Kwan of Singapore, the “Crazy Rich Asians.”

Speculations are that Kevin Kwan himself will be one of executive producers of this Hollywood movie of Kris together with the Warner Bros. No confirmation about this matter has been made as of press time.

Kris wrote on Facebook that she is not allowed to talk and reveal about the movie she is about to do in Hollywood.

Meanwhile, it was reported that Kris is being convinced to run for mayor in 2019 in Quezon City to replace Mayor Herbert Bautista who is on his third and final term. There were reports earlier that Kris and Mayor Bautista were into relationship.

If that happens, Kris maybe pitted against three-term Vice Mayor Josefina Joy Belmonte, daughter of former mayor and Speaker Feliciano Belmonte Jr. who has announced her candidacy for mayor and bolstered her plans lately by joining the party of President Rodrigo Duterte, the PDP-Laban.

Kris took her oath as PDP-Laban member with Councilor Gian Sotto, son of Senator Vicente Sotto and actress Helen Gamboa, who is being groomed as Belmonte’s running mate.

Kris was earlier reported to be eyeing the governorship of Tarlac, a position his late father once held, or as congresswoman of Makati City. Others want her to run for senator.

Aster Amoyo at the same time reported that Kris also wrote on her Facebook account that she has not decided on the possibility of joining politics.

Kris also wrote on Facebook that she will have another television show again soon.

Meanwhile, Filipino American comedian Nico Santos is set to join the the cast of the upcoming Warner Brothers adaptation of Kevin Kwan’s bestselling novel, “Crazy Rich Asians.”.

Nico Santos, who was born and raised in the Philippines, has been officially declared a part of the “Crazy Rich Asians” cast headlined by Henry Golding, Constance Wu, Gemma Chan, Michelle Yeoh, Awkwafina and Ken Jeong.

Living in California “by way of Portland, Oregon,” Santos began doing stand-up comedy in San Francisco. Due to his quirky impersonations and sarcastic wit, he immediately became a fixture in the local comedy scene.

Since then, he has written scripts for E! Network's "Fashion Police" and appeared on Showtime's "Pride Comedy Jam," as well as in TV series like “2 Broke Girls,” "Mulaney” and "Ground Floor." He was also in the regular panel of "Chelsea Lately."

Currently, Nico stars as Mateo on NBC’s “Superstore” comedy series. He has also made flicks such as “The Clapper” with Ed Helms and Amanda Seyfried and “Paul Blart: Mall Cop 2.”

“Crazy Rich Asians” has started filming and will be shot in Malaysia and Singapore. The Jon M. Chu-directed movie is based on Kwan’s romantic comedy revolving around the lives of New Yorker Rachel Chu, played by Wu, and her longtime boyfriend Nick Young, portrayed by Golding, as they attend the wedding of Young’s best friend in Singapore.
